In order to improve the quality of research and publications, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Bandung Institute of Technology in collaboration with ENAGO has held “Author Workshop on Academic Writing and Publishing on Friday, July 5 2019, at the East Hall of the ITB Campus, Jl. Ganesha No. 10 Bandung.

The workshop was opened by the Secretary of LPPM for Community Service, Dr. Irwan Meilano by presenting Dr. Michael Prieler, lecturer at Hallym University, South Korea. The materials presented are:

1. Introduction to Academic Publishing—Writing, Submission, and Successful Publication
2. Challenges in Academic Publishing—Role of English Language.

The material from the resource person explains about:

1. Understanding the nuances of academic writing
2. Expert tips on drafting a good manuscript—Do’s and Don’ts
3. Awareness of journal selection and manuscript submission processes
4. Importance of good English language and grammar skills
5. Improved understanding of application of English grammar in academic writing
6. Challenges faced by ESL Researchers in publishing in international journals.

At the event which was attended by approximately 125 participants, Ms. Nicole Arya explaining about the services for writers from Enago.
